Jon Whitney
Jon Whitney is dedicated to helping businesses and professionals reach their audience through his publications. Since 1985, Jon Whitney has worked in many aspects of print publishing, marketing, and advertising sales. Jon’s experiences in publishing and marketing has grown and expanded over the years as he conceived and founded a variety of print publications and their digital components.
A native Mainer, Whitney began his career working with several suburban weekly newspapers in the Boston area. During the advent of desktop publishing, Whitney returned to Maine and began publishing several shoppers and travel newspapers in both Portland and Boston.
In 1994, Whitney founded MaineBiz which quickly grew to become the go-to publication for Maine’s business community. He sold in 1999 and went on to become the publisher of Golf Course News at United Publications in Yarmouth, ME. From there, Whitney went on to publish annual Chamber magazines for both the Greater Bridgton area and the Oxford Hills area. He has also served as acting publisher of travelMaine magazine, co-founded the Maine Buyer’s Guide to Real Estate and, in 2016 founded MAINE REALTOR® magazine and in 2017 NHREALTOR® magazine.

Dan Marois
Dan works as a writer, editor, actor, improviser, team builder, trainer and a fake patient for health professionals. He has worked in healthcare marketing and public relations in Maine for over 20 years. He is the Chief Entertainment Officer for Mystery for Hire and Mainely Improv, a mystery theater company and an improv comedy troupe. He is the editor for Maine REALTOR, New Hampshire REALTOR and the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce magazine. He can be reached at dmarois2@gmail.com.

Rachel Taylor
Is the Founder & Studio Director for Talley-O. Rachel is a multi-tasker supreme who runs the client management side of Talley-O, but supports the design side as well: Her degree is a BFA in printmaking from Bates College. She has worked as a visual merchandiser for Macy’s before starting work at The VIA Agency as an account executive. While there she managed accounts for Klondike, Seagram’s Escapes, DuPont, Unum and Colonial Life. In her non-ample spare time, Rachel is rearing a passel of young Mainers with her husband, Andrew, another hardworking entrepreneur.

Liza Sperry
Liza is the Founder & Design Director for Talley-O. Liza graduated from Maine College of Art & Design with a BFA in Graphic Design. The VIA Agency is where she began her design career, art directing and designing ad campaigns for Welch’s, Maidenform, Seagram’s Escapes, Backyard Farms, Lojack, DuPont and Dundee Beer. Her art can be seen on Maine Cabin Masters, in Downeast Magazine, and in various boutique shops in Maine. If you pick up a pint of Gifford’s ice cream, she illustrated the package design!

Pomie Costell
As a graphic designer and illustrator, Pomie's work has helped establish and enhance a client brands, such as Dielectric Communications, Catholic Charities Maine, Natural Resources Council of Maine, Stenhouse Publishers and Mercy Hospital. She has received received awards from the New England Society for Health Care Communications (NESHCo), Health Care Advertising Awards, Communicator Awards, as well as Maine Ad Club Brodersons.

Marilyn Blinkhorn
Marilyn has been in advertising sales for many years getting her start at the Portland publications Casco Bay Weekly, Mainebiz, Interface Media Group, and Port City Life magazine, prior to joining the NHREALTOR/MAINE REALTOR team. She also works as a successful artist in New England, and is affiliated with JW Reilly Fine Art, Boston.
